Mocero prioritises data safety and hence we have equipped ourselves with a robust system of safeguards and privacy practices. Your sensitive personal information is stored safely in secure databases where access is restricted. We ensure that your information is not modified or used for any unauthorised purposes or for services that you haven't opted for.

We are committed to meeting regulatory and compliance standards on data, privacy, and protection. Industry-based compliances we adhere to include HL7 and HIPAA standards.

Encryption

Mocero protects all customer data transmitted to our servers over public networks using strong encryption tools. We mandate that all connections to our servers use Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.2/1.3) encryption with strong ciphers. This is for all connections including web access, API access, our mobile apps, and IMAP/POP/SMTP email client access.

We encrypt customer data at rest using 256-bit Advanced Encryption Standard (AES). We own and maintain the keys using our in-house Key Management Service (KMS). We provide additional layers of security by encrypting the data encryption keys using master keys which are well protected.

User privacy is antithetical to advertising, and many companies seek to profit by selling their customer data to advertisers. We at Mocero, are transparent in our practice, especially since it is the data of patients and healthcare providers that we are protecting. We would never seek to gain profit in any way that compromises the trust our users have in our service, including selling your data to third-party advertisers.
